Deferral of a master's diploma to improve grades

If you want to improve the results that constitute part of your master's degree from The Faculty of Social Sciences, you can defer your diploma for up to two semesters.

    Deadline

    • February 1 (students finishing their degree in the spring semester)
    • September 1 (students finishing their degree in the autumn semester)

    What information will be provided on the diploma?

    If you pass the same examination several times, the best result will be listed on your diploma.

    If you have improved a grade after registering the degree as completed, this will be noted on your diploma.

    No new courses for the degree

    Your education plan is locked the semester you take the final courses in your degree. You cannot defer your diploma in order to take a new courses.

    If you want to take new courses you can apply to become a guest student on master courses at the Department of Economics. You can document new courses using an ordinary transcript.

    When will you receive your diploma?

    Your diploma will be issued automatically at the end of your deferral period.
