Debraj Ray is one of the most renowned economic theorists and development economists in the world and was awarded an honorary doctorate by UiO in 2011. Ray is Silver Professor, Faculty of Arts and Science, and Professor of Economics at NYU as well as co-Editor of American Economic Review. Ray is an affiliated researcher at ESOP and will visit the research centre November 21-25.
