Academic interests
I am a researcher in the project Rule of Law in NAV: Principled Justification (RETTS) at ARENA Centre for European Studies. The objective of the project is to develop an operable concept of due process, in the context of the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV).
My academic interests also include normative political theory, and I have published on topics such as international justice, humanitarian intervention, cyber war, and climate ethics. I am affiliated with the Oslo Political Theory group.
Background
Prior to taking up my position at ARENA, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of political science at the University of Oslo, funded by a grant from the Research Council of Norway (click here for more information about the project). As part of this project, I was also a visiting postdoctoral fellow at the Manchester Centre for Political Theory at the University of Manchester. Before that, I was a senior lecturer at the International Programme for Politics and Economics at University West, Sweden. I have a PhD in political science from the University of Gothenburg.
