Europe, the EU, and the EEA are rapidly evolving. The UK has withdrawn from the EU, Russia has gone to war against a country in Europe, and in recent years the continent has undergone crises such as COVID-19 and migration crises. This development also has consequences for Norway's policy space - a space that has been much debated in the aftermath of the "Welfare Scandal" ("Trygdeskandalen"). Therefore, the Research Council of Norway has established two new centers for EU and EEA law to look further into the relationship between European and Norwegian law. The University of Agder's Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence invites you to a panel, which is the first meeting where both centers and several guests will discuss Norway's policy space under the EEA Agreement.
