Workshop: Crises, differentiation and democratic governance in the EU

John Erik Fossum and Jozef Bátora organise a workshop on differentiation and democratic governance in the EU on 31 March 2016.

Workshop conveners: John Erik Fossum, ARENA and Jozef Bátora, Comenius University

The workshop will bring together scholars from both ARENA and Comenius University to discuss the implications of a differentiated EU to the effectiveness and legitimacy of democratic governance in today's Europe.

Presentations on a range of issues pertaining to the overall workshop agenda will be held by both ARENA and Comenius University staff.

This workshop is part of an inter-institutional cooperation project on differentiation and democratic governance in the EU, which aims to establish lasting cooperation between ARENA and Comenius University.

The project is co-funded by the EEA Grants and the state budget of the Slovak Republic from the EEA Scholarship Program Slovakia.
