1814-2014 Red, White and Blue: Norwegian Constitution, American Inspiration, with editor Gudleiv Forr, was published through ART PRO on the occasion of the bicentennial of the Norwegian constitution. The book is a cooperation between 10 artists and 15 authors, and explains how the Norwegian constitution was created, how it has functioned, and the democratic challenges it faces. The book is directed towards a wide range of readers.
The EU and the Norwegian Paradox: Bicentennial of the Constitution with an Aftertaste
Eriksen's chapter deals with the Norwegian connection to the EU, and how it influences and challenges our nation's sovereignty. Eriksen writes that Norwegian participance in the EEA has constitutional implications, and that every administration since 1994 has brought Norway closer to the EU. Due to membership in the EEA agreement, three quarters of EU legislation is effectively enforced also in Norway. This leads to, according to Eriksen, Norway relinquishing sovereignty in a number of areas without having received anything in return in form of co-determination that EU membership would have granted.

1814 - 2014 Rødt, hvitt og blått: Norsk grunnlov, amerikansk inspirasjon, med redaktør Gudleiv Forr, ble utgitt gjennom ART PRO forlag i anledning grunnlovsjubileet 2014. Boken er et samarbeid mellom 10 kunstnere og 15 forfattere. Verket tar for seg den demokratiske inspirasjonen bak den norske grunnloven, hvordan den ble til, hvordan den har fungert, og hvilke utfordringer det norske demokratiet står overfor. EU og det norske paradoks: Grunnlovsjubileum med bismak
Eriksens kapittel tar for seg hvordan norsk tilknytning til EU preger og utfordrer nasjonens og grunnlovens suverenitet. Eriksen skriver at EØS-avtalen har konstitusjonelle implikasjoner, og at hver regjering siden 1994 har brakt Norge nærmere EU. Gitt at man er tilknyttet EU gjennom EØS-avtalen, er tre fjerdedeler av EU-lovgivningen gjeldende også i Norge. Dette leder, i følge Eriksen, til at Norge har avgitt suverenitet gjennom flertallsvedtak på en rekke områder, uten å få den kompensasjonen i form av medbestemmelsesrett som EU-medlemskap gir.
