On Thursday 29 February, researcher and Committee of the Regions official Justus Schönlau will visit ARENA and present his current research on the Institutionalisation of Strategic Foresight as an EU Governance Tool.

Partnerforum hosts a seminar on democracy and expertise on 19 January where ARENA researchers will present findings from the book The Accountability of Expertise.

Katharina Meissner will hold a methods seminar entitled 'Using 'R' in qualitative research: QCA, process-tracing, and the case of EU trade sanctions'. The seminar is open to all ARENA staff. 

The seminar will discuss three recently published books which deal with challenging questions of identity and belonging, as well as terrorism.

Professor William E. Scheuerman will give a presentation 'Can Political Institutions Commit Civil Disobedience?' at the seminar at the Faculty of Law. The seminar is jointly organised by the Department of Public and International Law and ARENA.

Morten Egeberg and Åse Gornitzka offer a PhD course in ‘Organisation Theory Approaches to the Study of Public Policy and Administration’ at the Department of Political Science in November 2016.
