The RTV Steering Group is responsible for maintaining and making key decisions concerning the RTV dataset. This primarily includes managing annual updates, producing the annual RTV Trend Report, and making strategic decisions concerning adjustments, revisions, or expansions of the dataset.
The RTV Steering Group is led by Jacob Aasland Ravndal, who originally created the RTV dataset in 2015. Other members include a leadership representative from C-REX, the current RTV Project Manager in charge of managing the annual updates, and selected former project managers with an invested interest in the RTV dataset.
The RTV Steering Group is based at the Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX) at the University of Oslo, which currently hosts the RTV dataset and finances its annual updates.
