The Programme Council is responsible for running and developing the interdisciplinary study program in economics and data science within the framework of the Regulations on studies and examination at UiO. The Programme Council will process questions regarding the academic framework, important priorities and the work with quality assurance and development of the program. The Programme Council will not make decisions which impact the use of resources and/or the distribution of resources at the Department.
The Programme Council is designed to ensure the students' representation. The Programme Council reports to the Head of Department. The Head of Department appoints the Chair of the Programme Council, Head of Programme and members of the Programme Council. The council consists of up to 6 members, of which 2 are student representatives, and meets 2-4 times per year.
