Why seed funding?
The seed funding will enable individuals or groups to:
- realize small scale changes/revisions to improve students' learning outcomes

advance the development of teaching proficiency of employees

prepare preliminary projects that can lead to greater funding and/or applications for external funding

implement measures that connect research and teaching
What can the funds be used for?

Recruitment of scientific assistants/other forms of student workers

Compensation of staff time (must be cleared with the department leadership)

Events/conferences/seminars etc.

Equipment
Who can apply?

Staff at the faculty of Social Sciences

Students in collaboration with units at the faculty
How to apply

Applications must be approved by the head of studies

Applications are assessed by the vice-dean of studies in consultation with the heads of studies

the amount awarded depends on the size of the pot and the number of applications
-
there is an open deadline for applications
