Welcome to our Orientation Week August 12th-16th! Take a look below to get to know what we have planned for you, and how we intend to welcome you to UiO and Norway!
To-do at the Faculty of Social Sciences:
- We highly recommend that you participate for the Welcome Meeting and Information Meeting that you can find below. At these events you will be presented with a lot of necessary and useful information that you need to know as an exchange student at UiO.
In case you have fallen ill, or for some other reason are unable to attend the information meeting, please let us know at info@sv.uio.no.
Important deadlines:
The final deadline for course registration is September 1st.
Do you require special examination arrangements? Remember to apply by September 1st.
Orientation Week events at the Faculty of Social Sciences
The Faculty of Social Sciences will give you important information regarding your time here at UiO. You will also get more information about your upcoming buddy week and buddy group here!
With your newly assigned buddy group you will do some Ice-Breaker Games and enjoy a period of time to get to know each other.
Your buddies will let you know where you'll meet up and what you will do :) They will also take you for a small guided tour around Campus Blindern.
Get ready to show what you're all made of! U1, the student pub at SV, has invited all of you international students to a night of games and fun!
Join us for a social gathering at Sognsvann! We'll provide the food, so all you have to do is bring whatever you'd like to drink and godt humør :) Dress according to the weather!
