Karine Nyborg Elected as President of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists

For the position of President, the candidates were Ignazio Musu (Italy) and Karine Nyborg (Norway). Karine Nyborg was elected with 65.17% of votes. Her two-year presidential term will begin in January 2012. She will serve as President-Elect in 2010 and 2011 and for other two years as Past-President, at the end of the presidential term.
