When should you apply?
We accept and grant applications continuously, although the main allotments will be June 15th and December 15th for students writing their thesis the fall and spring semester respectively.
Who may apply?
Applicants can be Master Students at the Department of Economics or at other departments at the Faculty of Social Sciences. The thesis must be relevant to ESOP's research areas. Applicants must have their main supervisor among the ESOP research staff
The scholarships
The scholarships may vary in size, depending on how many scholarships are granted, but the largest possible scholarship is NOK 20,000.
The application
Applicants should contact the supervisor they wish to write for in order to discuss a project plan. The application should contain a one page introduction where you also propose a supervisor, a detailed project plan for the thesis, a CV and your grades from higher education.
