Phd course: The political economics of development clusters

Torsten Persson of the Institute for International Economic Studies at Stockholm University gives a four day intensive phd-course August 30 - September 2.

The couse will be taught by Torsten Persson from the Institute for International Economic Studies at Stockholm University. It will be based on his upcoming book Pillars of prosperity: The political economics of development clusters (co-author:Tim Besley)

The 12 hour course is split into four sessions of three hours. It will be taught from 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock on Tuesday August 30 - Thursday September 1 and from 8 o'clock to 11 o'clock on Friday September 2 in room 1047 (on the 10th floor), Eilert Sundts hus, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Oslo.

There is no participation charge, but participants have to cover their own travel expenses and accomodation.
