In her dissertation Nina Drange investigates how cash for care subsidy, free preschool and the 1997 early school start reform have affected the relationship between leisure and employment, and children's development.
Drange's research shows new aspects of childcare arrangements in the welfare state. Her findings are important constributions in the debate about Norwegian welfare policy.
