Gupta is visiting ESOP as a part of the Economic Growth and Sustainable Development in India project. She is a PhD fellow at the Indian Statistical Institute in New Delhi, with a background from Delhi School of Economics. Her areas of interest are: environmental economics, climate change, development economics, and the resource curse.
