Mr. Miguel Serrano Lopez will perform his internship within the Working Group on Conflict and Economic Performance, which is a 'joint venture' between the Centre for the Study of Civil War (CSCW) at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) and ESOP.
Mr. Serrano's research includes the relationship between the production of illicit crops of coca, the armed conflict in Colombia, and welfare. These are issues that arouse great interest in the working group, and on which they have developed several papers in the case of Afghanistan.
