Length and content of lectures can be adjusted to each visit. Choose between the following topics:
- "Inequality": what effects does inequality have for economic development and how are societies affected by economic inequality?
- "The Nordic model": what distinguishes the Nordic model from other European countries?
- "Migration": which factors determine global migration flows and how are local workers affected?
- "What now, Europe?": which consequences does "Brexit" have for the economic and political forces in Europe?
- "The role of oil in the Norwegian economy": what has oil meant for Norway's economic development and how will the future economy look like without it?

"Forskningsdagene" is a national, annual festival set to take place September 21-October 2. During the festival there will be activities all over the country in order to boost enthusiasm about research and highlight its meaning for our daily lives as well as for innovation and business.
