How to mark your affiliation with European Strains

Your affiliation with European Strains should be marked with a note in all publications (working papers, journals and books) for which you have directly or indirectly benefitted from European Strains funding.

Always include:

European Strains is supported by the Research Council of Norway through its Europe in Transition funding scheme, project number 227072/F10. Insert this acknowledgement note already in the first draft.

We suggest one of the following formulations:

While carrying out this research, I have been associated with the project European Strains at ESOP - Centre for the study of Equality, Social Organization, and Performance at the Department of Economics,  University of Oslo. European Strains is funded by the Research Council of Norway through its Europe in Transition funding scheme, project number 227072/F10.

or

My work (or ‘This paper’) is part of the research activities at the project European Strains at ESOP - Centre for the study of Equality, Social Organization, and Performance at the Department of Economics,  University of Oslo. European Strains is funded by the Research Council of Norway through its Europe in Transition funding scheme, project number 227072/F10.

If you are employed full time at the Department of Economics, UiO, you should also state UiO in your address:

Write ‘University of Oslo’ or ‘Department of Economics, University of Oslo’ when stating your address (after your name or as a footnote to your name).
