I am a political geographer researching armed conflicts, their causes and consequences, including migration and health outcomes. I currently lead the Young Researcher Talent project "CONMIG - Geographies of conflict-induced migration", where I investigate the heterogeneous impacts of violence on forced migration through mixed methods. I am also part of the TRUST project, studying refugees' impacts on host communities in the global south. Both projects are funded by the Research Council Norway (RCN). I also teach Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Spatial Data Analysis at all academic levels and regularly teach Ph.D. courses on spatial data analysis using R.
