Funding and collaboration
Ryndyk has been pursuing the PhD program in Sociology at the University of Oslo (UiO) since 2016 with a project that investigates links between family reunification and labour market integration among Polish migrants in Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
His PhD project is funded by the Research Council of Norway within the project "Doing Family across Borders: A Comparative Study of Work, Family and Welfare Strategies among Polish Migrants in Norway, Sweden, and the UK".
Background
He holds a master's degree in International Economics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine) and a joint European master in Migration and Intercultural Relations (EMMIR) from the University of Stavanger (Norway) and the University of Oldenburg (Germany).
Ryndyk is currently employed at the Centre for Intercultural Communication (SIK) at VID Specialized University in Stavanger and does research on migration and migrant integration.
