The focus of Facing the Future 2017 will be on the role and nature of collaboration. In particular it will focus on collaboration as a force for leveraging collective change to achieving the large scale transformations needed faced with global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss and global inequality. Values, interests, goals and visions for the future influnce collaboration and it can be challenging for collaborations to acheive transformational change. Facing the Future 2017 Conference
Facing the Future 2017 is an interactive conference and workshop with the theme: “Collaborative power for societal transformations in a rapidly changing world”. Professor Karen O’Brien from AdaptationCONNECTS will lead the conference in collaboration with Dr Anthony Hodgson from the International Futures Forum.
