February Update

There is a lot of activity going on with EUMARGINS at the moment. A transnational analysis based upon the national context reports is being written, as well as the first policy brief is taking shape. The project will be represented at a European Youth Research Seminar in Brussel in March. Shortly, EUMARGINS' logo will be finalized and made public.

We are happy to announce that EUMARGINS' very own logo will shortly be displayed on these web pages. This will be followed by a re-design of our web pages by means of including photos relevant to the research objectives.

In March 2009 EUMARGINS will be represented at the "Findings from European Youth Research - UP2Youth meets policy makers and youth researchers“ seminar in Brussels, together with other youth-related research projects under the FP6 and FP7.

The national context reports are being finalized, and focus is now upon the transnational comparison report, as well as the first policy brief which will be finished in March.EUMARGINS is just about to enter its data collection phase, and preparations are being made for this. All teams will have done at least one interview prior to the project meeting in Nancy (France) in April, a meeting in which the final framework for data collection will be settled. The French team is working on the preparations for the project meeting.
