GIS-Café

Department of Sociology and Human Geography (ISS) invites all students at ISS to the GIS-Café: a one-stop shop for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial data and analyses help in an informal setting.

Please feel free to drop-in if you are just interested in guess, and particularly if you are

  • working with GIS or doing any kind of spatial analysis.
  • if you are otherwise working with spatial data and/or concerned about the spatial nature of your data
  • if you have any questions with any GIS-related work or topics
  • if it is or could be part of your bachelor or master thesis.

At the ISS GIS-Café you are more than welcome to drop-in and use the GIS-ready computers, work alone or with others, and ask the Café staff any GIS/spatial-related questions.

All students at ISS are warmly welcome, at all programs and levels: sociology, human geography, development studies, OLA, and KULKOM.

Don’t hesitate to come! Please see the Café’s opening hours for this term (next term to be announced) below!
