Academic interests

Environmental and climate policy, climate adaptation, quality of government and informal institutions. I am particularly interested in understanding how corruption can affect climate adaptation and mitigation in developing countries using new machine learning methods and spatio-temporal data. I am also interested in understanding how internet access and social media can influence political outcomes in developing countries.
