Academic interests

My academic interests are found within regional security cooperation, security force assistance, the fight against terrorism, organised violence and peacekeeping. I have through the years focused on the region of Africa, and over the last couple of years particularly the Sahel. My PhD project is about the sub-regional G5 Sahel joint force. I particularly study the relationship between G5 Sahel and external actors through security force assistance, financing, and military collaboration in the fight against terrorism.
