Kristin Ven Bruusgaard

Dr. Kristin Ven Bruusgaard was the inaugural postdoctoral fellow in the Oslo Nuclear Project. Dr. Bruusgaard´s postdoctoral project (2019-2022) examined Russian nuclear strategy. In addition to publishing award-winning research, Dr. Bruusgaard took on the role as Deputy Leader of the Norwegian Defence Commission during her fellowship. In the fall of 2022, she became the first civilian Director of the Norwegian Intelligence School. Dr. Bruusgaard remains an Affiliate with the Oslo Nuclear Project.
