Academic Interests

  • Developmental Psychology

  • Cognitive Neuroscience

I am a PhD Candidate in developmental psychology, belonging to the Cognitive Developmental Research Unit (EKUP), headed by Professor Annika Melinder. My main interest is the child’s early cognitive development, the social aspects in particular. With my research I wish to contribute to the further developing of a theoretical framework handling impairments in social as well as communicative development, while also studying the developmental course of these functions in typically developing children and in children at risk. Eye tracking will be the primary method for my research.
