NVivo's own website provides a good introduction to what NVivo is. There you can find a basic guide to NVivo and a link to 43 YouTube videos they have created on how to use the program.
NVivo's own tutorial is easy to follow.
We recommend downloading NVivo through UiO's software kiosk (outside of TSD). If you need to use this program within TSD, you must ask the person responsible for the TSD area to download it (if this does not apply to you).
Note! If two people are writing a thesis together, it's important to understand how to use NVivo collaboratively. For more information, refer to 'Collaborating with NVivo - possibilities and limitations.' Note that two people cannot work on the same dataset at the same time in a single NVivo project. One person must save and close NVivo before the other person can open and work on the same dataset.
