Main goal
The aim of the study is to increase our knowledge on:

Therapists' experience with, and perceived knowledge of, children and young people in BUP with problematic and/or harmful sexual behavior.

Which methods, systems/procedures and support therapists have in working with children and young people with problematic and/or harmful sexual behavior.

Whether perceived competence and support is related to the therapist's experience of coping,burnout and secondary traumatizing stress.
Method
We will use a cross-sectional design where data will be collected at a given time in a predefined population that includes therapists and leaders working in Norwegian BUPs. In addition, qualitative interviews will be conducted by a sub group of therapists and leaders. Insert link to the project
Cooperation
The study is part of the project: Digital sexual abuse and violations against children and young people - perpetrators, victims and venues. The study is part of the government's commitment to increased knowledge about digital abuse and is a collaboration between NKVTS and NOVA. The study was initiated and financed by the Ministry of Justice.
