Would you like to try the MooneyGame?

  • How do we decide what to attend in the visual world?
  • How is the behavior of our eyes involved in such decisions?
Image may contain: Elephants and Mammoths, Terrestrial animal, Font, Working animal, Art.

We have set up the MooneyGame to study these questions, as part of the research project “Cost and effort in information sampling”. The testing session will take place in our lab at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo. You will work with a task involving a series of images presented on a computer screen.

A camera will detect eye movements and variation in the size of your pupils when you look at the pictures. In addition, there will be a brief battery of psychological tests on cognitive abilities and motivation. The test session lasts about two hours in total, and you will be compensated for your time and effort with a gift card (Universal Presentkort, 200 kr).

If you are 18 years or older and want to participate, please leave your contact info in the form below, and we will reach out to you soon.

We will not share your contact info with anyone.

If you have questions about participating in the study, please contact perfla@student.sv.uio.no
