PhD project
For my PhD, in a collaborative project with Jagiellonian University in Cracow, I investigate what drives some people to withdraw from political engagement and others to engage in (violent) extremist acts through a mixed methods approach.
Furthermore, I investigate the drivers behind the pro-/anti-immigration activist movements in Germany and why people remain engaged over time even when experiencing threats.
