Current Project

PhD candidate in the project “Motherhood and Quality of Life”, funded by Norges Forskningsrådet. In this project, we try to understand the determinants of Subjective Wellbeing among Norwegian parents, as well as caregiving burden and how it can impact their children’s mental health. We are particularly interest in how the parents’ social network can work as a protective factor to their mental health.

We are also interested in reaching a broader understanding of how the genetics of wellbeing work through the use of GWAS and Polygenic scores. We aim to analyze how genetics can influence one’s social network, work environment and satisfaction with life.
