The Head of Department has the overall responsibility for the running of the department. The Vice Head of Department will step in for the Head of Department during longer periods of absence.

The Head of Education has the overall responsibility for the quality of the study programmes, and the Head of Research has the overall responsibility for the research activity at the Department.

The Head of Office is the administrative leader of the Department and is responsible for coordinating the administrative work of the Department.
