Postdoktorprosjekt
In his PhD project Vinzenz Baumer Escobar looked at the everyday construction of alternative economic formations in Catalonia. In PORTS he will be conducting fieldwork in the Port of Rotterdam, where he will look into the (re)configuration of the relation between labor and capital by drawing from the anthropology of infrastructure and the anthropology of work. His research is situated at the crossroads of political and economic anthropology, with a particular focus on (the future of) work, sovereignty, the performativity of the economy, and the commons.
