TIK Talk #3: Three aspects of innovation

Innovation has become a very popular term lately. In his new TIK Talk, Professor Magnus Gulbrandsen has three messages for aspiring innovators.

Three messages

Policy makers, industry and the public sector often want advice on how to promote it. Professor Magnus Gulbrandsen has three important messages:

  1. Innovation is often resisted.

  2. You don’t innovate alone.

  3. There will be unintended consequences.

- We need to have good innovation policies, that also take into account the implications and consequences of innovation.
