Paper: The user dimension of scientific impact
Researchers Kate Barker and Maria Karaulova presented a paper from the OSIRIS Manchester project work: “The user dimension of scientific impact – conceptualising policy-making conditions for understanding the impact of research upon policy”. The article is co-written by Jakob Edler, Maria Karaulova and Kate Barker.
The paper was presented at the conference of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union Conference on Impact of R&I Policy at the Crossroads of Policy Design, Implementation and Evaluation, 5-6 November 2018, Vienna.

The conference was co-organised by MIOIR (Jakob Edler and Philippe Laredo), IFRIS (Philippe Laredo) and the Austrian Platform for Research and Technology Policy Evaluation (fteval) Klaus Schuch. Around 200 academics, policy-makers and innovation programme managers attended.
