In addition to presentations of new research on societal impact evaluations with the traditional Q&A, the panel included a ‘parliamentary debate’ on statements raised in the presentations or by the attendees.
Attendees engaged in a debate over justifications for the statements and could agree or disagree with the statements – or change their mind after hearing the arguments of others. Among the advantages: more voices being heard, the chance to be convinced by new arguments, and to walk about the room at the same time.
