Around the theme of the ocean is a site of ongoing transformations, the seminar was organized by the research project Maritime Modernities: Formats of Oceanic Knowledge. Led by Ellen Marie Krefting, this project asks the question of how history can contribute to a deeper understanding of the realities of the current ecological crisis of the oceans.
As part of the seminar, Kristin Asdal was invited to give a lecture on her book Nature-Made Economy (Asdal & Huse, 2023).
