Competitiveness in the knowledge based economy (MICRO-DYN) (completed)

MICRO-DYN is a large scale research project (integrated project) financed by the European Union focusing on "microdynamics", e.g. firm level activities.

About the project

TIK particpates together with a large number of organisations all over Europe and the scientifically responsible at TIK is Professor Jan Fagerberg.

The central research objective is to adress in a comprehensive and methodologically coherent way some of teh core driving forces of innovation, competitiveness, employment and growth in the contemporary European economy. Within MICRO-DYN, TIK coordinates a workpackage on innovation activities in firms exploiting, in particular, data from the Community Innovation Surveys (CIS). Bart Verspagen is the coordinator of this workpackage.
