Top development economist visits ESOP 22-25 March

Debraj Ray, a top development economist, gives a guest lecture for students in development economics at UiO on 23 March. He presents recent research in an informal ESOP workshop on 24 March.

Debraj Ray is one of the most renowned development economists in the world and was awarded an honorary doctorate by UiO in 2011.

Ray will give an introductory lecture on development economics for bachelor students on 23 March.

He will also present “Aspirations and Inequality” in an informal ESOP mini-workshop on 24 March at 10:15 in ESOPs seminar room ES 1047.

Ray is a professor at New York University and an affiliated researcher at ESOP.
