On Friday 10th October, TIK held a workshop on “The Effects of R&D Policy: New Research Directions”.
The open workshop was organized as part of the project «R&D Policy by Sector: A Cross-Country Investigation», financed by the NFR-FORFI programme, where TIK collaborates with NUPI, SPRU (UK), Grenoble School of Management (FR) and Bocconi University (IT).
The project workshop had a participation of around 30 persons, among which several researchers and policy-makers interested in R&D and innovation policy.
The morning session presented a panel with three invited speakers: Dirk Czarnitzki (KU Leuven and ZEW Mannheim), Ester Martinez-Ros (University Carlos III, Madrid) and Giovanni Cerulli (Italian Research Council). In the afternoon session, the project partners presented three of the papers produced so far by the project studying how the additionality effects of R&D tax incentives differ across industrial sectors.
It was a great workshop with several international researchers, including some of the big names within the field.
