Over the span of two days, the Value threads-team joined forces at the Centre de sociologie d’innovation (CSI) at Mines ParisTech for a status update on our ongoing work and the road ahead. We are preparing for both EGOS and EASST 2022 (follow the links to read more on the panels and themes we are organizing), so our main focus was on developing our draft papers – both individually but also through discussing them in relation to ´value threads´.
Both Liliana Doganova and Kristin Asdal are finishing separate books related to their work on the valuation of nature, and presented final drafts of the chapters. Updates on their publication will be put out on these pages.
We were also lucky to be joined by Béatrice Cointe who has ties to both CSI and TIK – CSI, where she currently works as a researcher, and TIK where she was a post-doc on the ERC-project «Enacting the Good Economy: Biocapitalization and the Little Tools of Valuation».
